A final year Information Management Technology student of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State, has died in a road traffic accident while driving with her boyfriend According to reports, Uwakwe Jennifer, who was set to write her final exam, later this week, died after her boyfriend, Emetor Ikenna Godspower’s car rammed into a truck, yesterday, along the Owerri-Onitsha road. The accident occurred when Emetor, while on speed, lost control and rammed into a stationary truck. Their corpses have been deposited at the Oraifite general hospital morgue for autopsy.    A Nigerian woman, Mrs Gloria Chiaka Aderibigbe, has died two days after giving birth to a set of twins after ten years of marriage.  According to her sister, Nancy Chiama, Gloria developed complications shortly after giving birth to her babies on Thursday, she passed away.    A 16-Year-Old Boy identified as Uzairu Salisu, has had his eyes plucked out by his employer in the Dutsen Jira area of Yelwa area in Bauchi state on Thursday,  A Statement released by the spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakili, says the incident was reported to the police by the village head. Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim's name is Uzairu Salisu 'M' of kwanan Gulmammu Jahun Quarters. The victim stated that One Ibrahim of Rafin Zurfi whom he knows for some time lured him to the Bush for a menial job on his farm, The suspect Ibrahim used a cable wire to strangulate the victim and remove his two eyes.'' Wakili said that the victim is currently in the Abubakar Tafawabalewa Teaching Hospital Bauchi (ATBUTH) receiving medical attention while efforts are being made to arrest the suspect.

   A man has been arrested for allegedly beating his wife to death over her refusal to have sx with him, NaijaCover Reports. The niece of the dead woman narrated the incident to NaijaCover On Facebook, while calling for justice for her mother's twin sister. According to the niece, the suspect waa in the habit of beating his wife. On  27th, the woman, Mrs Ugieki Asemota returned home from a wedding to find her husband drunk, so she had a bath and locked herself in a room to avoid getting beaten which is allegedly her husband's habit when he's drunk. However, late at night, the husband is said to have banged on her door, demanding sex but she told him to go to his room and leave her alone, NaijaCover Learnt. When he wouldn't leave and she could sense him becoming violent, afraid of what would happen if he eventually enters the room, the wife is said to have jumped out of her room through a window.       Yesterday, a Hilux veered into opposite road at Ikota , Lekki in Lagos -rammed into two cars. The drivers of the vehicles who were seriously injured have been hospitalized and a Man Traveling to his Mother's Burial lost one of his leg in the process .

    It has been reported that an unknown man has called off his wedding after finding a past post of his wife-to-be on Facebook saying she can cheat on her husband if offered and given 1 million Naira Apparently, the bride-to-be didn’t share a whole post saying she would leave or cheat on her husband for 1 million Naira but commented when a Facebook user asked. She commented “yes” to the question “Can you cheat on your husband for N1 million”. The man discovered this through someone he knows who sent him a screenshot of the bride-to-be’s comment and unfortunately, he doesn’t want to take the risk so he called off the wedding.
